Frosty Comer retired in May 2011, after 22 years of service from his position as the National Vice President, Federal Health Services for Apria and Coram Healthcare, the nation’s largest HME/RT/O2/NPWT and Home Infusion Therapy provider. Responsibilities included the consulting, education, development, and implementation of contractual relationships with the military, VA, and TRICARE for Apria and Coram services. Frosty has over 50 years’ experience in acute hospital, hospice, and home Infusion Care pharmacy services that includes 27 years as an Army Colonel Pharmacy Officer.  He received a BA degree in Biology from Willamette University in 1966 and a BA & BS degree in Pharmacy from Oregon State University in 1968.  In 1978 Frosty completed his Masters in Hospital Pharmacy Management from Oregon State University with a focus on improving quality and pharmacy system operations.

Frosty now works as a part-time business and clinical consultant for several companies that includes being one of the founders and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cook Solutions Group and a member of the Health and Risk Advisory Board. In addition, Frosty is an Affiliate Faculty member, Pharmacy Practice at Oregon State University College of Pharmacy and previously served on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Regional Blood Services, the Oregon Health Forum, the Oregon Coalition of Healthcare Purchasers, the Oregon Quality Corporation, Hospice House and Hopewell House Hospice Center. He was also a member of the Mount Hood Ski Patrol from 1976-1985.
