Cook Community Builder

Celebrating 23 Years with a Giving Twist!

In honor of CSG’s 23rd anniversary, we didn’t just celebrate—we gave back. Through our annual 23er Raffle, 25 lucky employees each won $500 for themselves and had $500 donated to the charity of their choice.

It’s all part of our commitment to making an impact, not just in security, but in our communities too. Whether it’s through the Cook Community Builders (CCB) program or surprise giveaways like this one, giving back is baked into the CSG culture.

This foundation is near and dear to my heart. It was officially started in Feb of 2024, and I was asked to be part of getting it off the ground as a board member. The foundation is dedicated to raising mental health awareness, providing valuable resources and support, promoting daily wellness, and fostering compassion for everyone. Reminding others that we're never alone in our journeys and we can create a community of support, understanding, and positive change.

I’m still relatively new to Phoenix and the AZ center after transferring from SoCal in December last year, but I wanted to choose something local and for the kids. I did already know that Alice Cooper was a huge staple in the community and has been for a long time so I felt it was fitting. Being a fan already made it a perfect fit. Thank you again for doing this!

A nonprofit focused on promoting next-generation nuclear power using thorium. I chose this organization because I support science-driven solutions to energy, climate, and sustainability challenges, and thorium-based technology is an underfunded but promising field.

I have chosen a charity that is dear to my heart, one that helps the most vulnerable in our community. The WRC does not rely on any federal or state funding, only donations. So, I feel the $500 is best donated to this wonderful organization. They help women struggling with domestic violence and SA, financial assistance, food assistance. As well as healthcare, housing, and legal assistance.

I’d like to donate to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. I live in the Texas Hill Country, just 40 minutes from the area where so many lives were lost or forever changed. I’d love to see the funds go toward helping those who are really struggling right now.
