Did my account number change after the Migration?
No, your account number is the same — however the receiver ID prefix did change. Your account number (the digits after the dash) remains unchanged. The prefix before the dash has been updated as follows: CE becomes S776, CF becomes S778, L9 becomes S906, and DIP becomes S809.
For example, if your previous account number was CE-1234, your new account number is S776-1234. The 1234 portion is unchanged — only the prefix is different. This applies to all accounts that were part of the migration, regardless of which prefix you previously had.
When contacting the monitoring center, always use your new account number with the updated receiver ID prefix to ensure the operator pulls up the correct account quickly. You can also identify your account using the physical address at the alarmed location, though providing the full account number is always faster.
