What is the difference between a SSiQ, INVR, and DVR?
A DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and INVR (Internal Network Video Recorder) are traditional recording devices that capture and store video footage. A SSiQ (Server Switch iQ), which CSG uses as the standard, combines a high-performance video server with a built-in network switch in a single hardened unit. This reduces cabling complexity and includes additional cybersecurity hardening features that standard INVRs and DVRs lack.
